Help Us Validate Our Production Monitoring System Across New Industries

Idea8 is selecting a small number of non-garment manufacturing facilities in Sri Lanka to test how our production monitoring system adapts to different machines, processes and production environments.

We are particularly interested in food production, packaging, printing, plastics, electronics, metalworking, assembly and other machine-based industries.

Capabilities

What the system can validate

These are the platform capabilities placed under evaluation during the pilot. Results are established through validation, not promised in advance.

What participating factories receive

  • Pilot installation on selected machines
  • Factory-specific production dashboard
  • Direct engineering support from Idea8
  • Pilot performance report
  • Recommendations for wider implementation
  • Preferential commercial pricing after validation

What Idea8 requires

  • Management commitment
  • Access to selected machines
  • A responsible factory coordinator
  • Basic production information
  • Permission to compare system results with factory records
  • Structured feedback during the programme
  • Agreement on whether the case study is public, anonymised or confidential
Process

    Submit application

    Stage-one form, approximately 5–7 minutes.

  2. 2

    Suitability review

Idea8 reviews factory suitability against programme criteria.

  3. 3

    Initial discovery call

A short call to align on objectives and scope.

  4. 4

    Factory technical assessment

On-site review of machines, power and network conditions.

  5. 5

    Pilot installation and validation

Installation, data validation and pilot performance report.

Apply for a validation pilot
